Game scoring guides
Dutch Blitz
How scoring works
Dutch Blitz uses a point system where you gain points for cards played and lose points for blitz cards remaining.
- Positive points: +1 point for each card played successfully
- Negative points: -2 points for each blitz card remaining in your deck
- Round score: Positive points minus negative points
Winning
The first player to reach or exceed the target score (default 100) wins. If multiple players reach the target in the same round, the player with the highest score wins. Ties result in multiple winners.
Blitzes
A blitz occurs when a player finishes their deck first. The round ends immediately, and all players count their remaining blitz cards.
Yahtzee
Full House
Sum of all 5 dice where 3 are the same number and 2 are the same number
How scoring works
Yahtzee is a turn-based dice game where players roll five dice to form specific combinations. Each player gets 13 turns (one per category), and each category can only be used once per game.
Full House
Sum of all 5 dice where 3 are the same number and 2 are the same number
Upper section
- Ones through Sixes: Sum of all dice showing that number (0-5, 0-10, 0-15, 0-20, 0-25, 0-30 points respectively)
- Upper section bonus: If total of Upper Section ≥ 63, add 35 bonus points
Lower section
- Three of a Kind: At least 3 dice same number; score = sum of all 5 dice (0-30 points)
- Four of a Kind: At least 4 dice same number; score = sum of all 5 dice (0-30 points)
- Full House: 3 dice same number and 2 dice same number; score = 25 points
- Small Straight: 4 consecutive dice (1-2-3-4, 2-3-4-5, or 3-4-5-6); score = 30 points
- Large Straight: 5 consecutive dice (1-2-3-4-5 or 2-3-4-5-6); score = 40 points
- Yahtzee: All 5 dice same number; score = 50 points
- Chance: Sum of all 5 dice (0-30 points)
Winning
After all 13 categories are filled, the player with the highest grand total (upper section + bonus + lower section) wins. If you roll a Yahtzee after already scoring 50 in the Yahtzee category, you can use it as a bonus entry (up to 3 bonus entries allowed).
Score entry
Click or tap any available category cell to enter your score. The score entry dialog shows the category name, description, and validates your input based on the category rules. Players take turns in order, and the current player's column is highlighted.
Cover Your Assets
How scoring works
Cover Your Assets is a card game where players collect asset cards (jewelry, stocks, real estate, etc.) and try to protect them from being stolen. Players score based on the total value of assets they have at the end of each round.
Scoring system
- Per round: Players calculate their total asset value at the end of each round
- Standard rules: Values are in multiples of $5,000 (e.g., $5,000, $10,000, $15,000, $20,000, etc.)
- Running total: Asset values accumulate over rounds (sum of all finalized round scores)
- No negative scoring: Only positive asset values (no penalties)
Card calculator
Use the card calculator to count your assets by bill type. Click the plus/minus buttons or enter counts directly for each bill denomination ($5k, $10k, $15k, $20k, $25k, $50k). The calculator automatically sums the total and updates your asset value.
Advanced rules
When advanced rules are enabled, you can use $1,000 bills and enter values in $1,000 increments instead of $5,000 increments. This allows for more precise scoring and adds the $1k bill option to the calculator. Enable advanced rules in the game settings when creating or editing a game.
Winning
The first player to reach or exceed the target score (default $1,000,000) wins. If multiple players reach the target in the same round, the player with the highest total wins. Ties result in multiple winners.
Scrabble
Round 3 - Enter score
How scoring works
Scrabble is a turn-based word game where players form words on a board using letter tiles. Players take turns placing words, and each turn scores points based on the letters used and any premium squares covered.
Round 3 - Enter score
Scoring system
- Turn score: Points earned for words formed on your turn
- Letter values: Each letter has a point value (A=1, B=3, C=3, D=2, E=1, F=4, G=2, H=4, I=1, J=8, K=5, L=1, M=3, N=1, O=1, P=3, Q=10, R=1, S=1, T=1, U=1, V=4, W=4, X=8, Y=4, Z=10)
- Premium squares: Double Letter Score (2x letter), Triple Letter Score (3x letter), Double Word Score (2x word), Triple Word Score (3x word)
- Multiple words: If a play forms multiple words (horizontally and vertically), all words score
- Running total: Turn scores accumulate into a running total
Turn-based play
Players take turns in order, entering their turn score one at a time. Each round represents one complete cycle through all players. The round is incomplete until all players have entered their turn score. Turn order can be reordered in game settings.
Winning
The first player to reach or exceed the target score (default 300 points) wins. If multiple players reach the target in the same round, the player with the highest score wins. Final scoring: unplayed tiles are subtracted from final score (handled manually by players).
